Train with your Gym Bros
Post a session, see what your friends put on the bar, and settle it on the leaderboard. All of it is optional — plenty of people use Gym Journal and never follow a single person.
Share your training
Community feed
Finish a session and post it — the lifts, the weights, the PRs. Add a photo or a clip of a set if it is worth seeing.
Fires & comments
A fire is this app's version of a like. Leave one on a session that earned it, or say something in the comments.
Build your circle
Gym Bros
Follow your training partners and the lifters you keep up with. Their sessions land in your feed as they finish them.
Public profiles & search
Find training partners by name or username. Control your own profile visibility in Settings.
Compare stats
Put your numbers next to a friend's — lifts, volume, sessions — and see where you actually stand. Part of Pro.
Where you rank
Leaderboards & Hall of Fame
Compare strength, total volume, personal records and consistency on separate Hall of Fame boards.
Achievements & ranks
30 badges across six categories — sessions, volume, PRs, streaks, duration and grit — and a rank that climbs as those numbers do.
Discover & share programs
Discovery Library
Browse the routines other lifters have shared, alongside the official ones, filtered by muscle group, equipment, goal and experience. Tap Share on a routine of your own to put it in there.
Reporting and blocking
Three things worth knowing before you post anything:
- Report a post, comment or profile and it goes straight into review.
- Block someone and their posts and comments leave your feed for good.
- Abuse and objectionable content get removed, and repeat accounts go with them. Reports come to one person — me — and I read them.
